Love Where You Live wasn’t just a sermon series here at Northland. It is our mission, given to us by Jesus Christ: Love God, Love People. We are excited to announce that we are Loving Where We Live by partnering with Logan Elementary. Logan is a school of about 400 students – the next generation of North Topeka – and we want to invest in them. There are a multitude of ways YOU can use your time, talents, and treasures to develop relationships with those right here in your own backyard.
Here are just a few ways you can begin partnering…
LEVEL 1
Pray. Prayer is not a last resort, but our first line of defense against the enemy.
leVEL 2
Collect Box Tops and drop them off in the box on the mission table. Goal is 1000 box tops by the end of the year.
LEVEL 3
Commit to 1 time a month to work in the community resource room at the school.
LEVEL 4
Commit to every 1st and 3rd Friday to help with Popcorn Fridays! Deliver popcorn to the students in their classrooms.
LEVEL 5
Commit to having lunch once a week with a student. This would be accomplished through a partnership with The Bridge.
