LOGAN ELEMENTARY – Updated 5.31.20
The partnership with Harvesters has been a Godsend for Logan in being able to provide food for families in need. If you would like to volunteer to help with food distribution for these families, that would be greatly appreciated! Topeka Rescue Mission – Updated 5.31.20
Hey all! I am reaching out to you because the needs at the Rescue Mission are escalating as this situation carries on and I have identified you as someone who has a servant’s heart for the Lord and His people. Below is a list of ALL the hands-on support they need for the next 2 weeks.
Per our most recent report, the Rescue Mission has not had any COVID-19 positive cases. The risk is minimal, but the needs are great.

Monday-Friday @ 9am
Quarantine & Isolation Help
Any time between 7am-11pm
(flexible on shift times & not required to work the whole shift)
Volunteers will assist with cleaning, taking requested items to guests rooms, monitoring guests in Q & I and assist with checking on guests.
M-F Breakfast 6:45-8:45 am
Dinner 4:45-6:45 pm
Saturday Brunch 9:15-11:15

URGENT NEED: In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we are restricting prepared meals to only our guests. To continue to assist community members who would normally eat in our dining room we are preparing sack lunches and are in urgent need of the items listed below:
Ind. Pkg. snack crackers
Ind. Pkg. Snack cakes or cookies
Lunch meat either sliced or in bulk
Ziploc sandwich bags, Gallon freezer and storage bags
Pre-packaged cutlery kit
