At Northland we never want to be just a come-and-see church, but a "Go and Be" church. Here are some great opportunities to love and serve our community.

Here’s how you can be on mission as the church, bringing hope and help and the light of Jesus to Topeka (read more, below):

From Christine Saunders, Principal of Logan

We passed out 40 family boxes of meals today when passing out the student lunches. Families we MOST appreciative! We’ll be distributing family boxes such as this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week and next.

If you were able to help out with some non-perishable items such as bread, eggs, milk, hot dogs, lunch meat, ground beef & chicken in 1 lb packages that would be much appreciated. We’d also be happy to receive monetary donations we could use to purchase those items.

To arrange drop-offs please contact Logan Elementary directly at:

  •  Call Kim Turley at (785) 354-1744 ext. 305 if you can help!
  •  With the recent health concerns our volunteers/groups that help serve meals are not able to because of age and health risks and ALMOST ALL OF OUR MEAL TIMES are needing volunteers. Volunteers can be high school or college students!
  • Breakfast- 6:45-8:45am-3 volunteers
  • Lunch-10:45-12:45Pm- 3 volunteers
  • Dinner- 4:45-6:45pm- 3 volunteers/Sunday Dinner 3:45-5:45pm- 3 volunteers
  •  TRM is doing our best to protect our guests, volunteers and staff. The need is still great and we are averaging 250 people each night. Since all our meals are open to community we’ve been averaging 350-400 meals each meal time, so the need for volunteers is great!

Keep checking this page! We’ll be adding more ideas and specific needs you can meet.
